An inexpensive and very effective 120db siren designed for the Bicycle Cop.

During my many years as a bike cop I have experimented with many bicycle sirens designed for police use. Every one of them mounted to the handlebars taking up precious space and, for the most part, were totally useless. (Still the best siren/horn for police use is the $1.25 plastic sports whistle.) However, I designed this siren for crowd control during parades and other large events. This siren has proven to be so effective and so much fun that we use it all the time. No longer do we have to patrol the busy downtown area with a whistle in our mouths. This is a 6-tone 120 db alarm that mounts to the rear bike rack and has a momentary pushbutton switch that easily attaches within thumb reach on your handlebars. The 9v battery box can be secured in your trunk bag or to your seat stay with the included hook and loop fastener (a.k.a. Velcro).  Mounting instructions and hardware included.
